(aka my most accurate loads are very near max 7mm-08 loads. Varget did ok for me. Nothing special to write home about. Decent powder, decent accuracy. Same with IMR 4350. Really do NOT like CFE223!!

Most Winchester 308's I've tested did best with the 168-175 gr. bullets, so a 160 in a 7mm-08 isn't any different IMO.

Velocity with 46grs and a 140 Nosler BT is 2600fps over my chronograph. 47grs and a 139gr Hornady flatbase is 2700. Accuracy is around an inch or slightly over at 100 yards.
